A modern alternative to chai, containing all the traditional benefits, but with no black tea. Abundant in exotic fruits and spices, and warming to the soul. When simmered with red wine makes for a perfect "mulled wine".
Ingredients: Apple pieces (Malus spectabilis) Hibiscus ( Hibiscus sabdariffa), orange peels (Citrus sinensis), Rosehip shells (Rosa spectabilis), Star anise (illicium verum), Cinnamon (Cinnamomum aromaticum), Cloves (Syzygium aromaticum), Allspice (pimenta dioica), Cornflowers blossom (Cenaurea cyanus), Natural red currant flavour.
Place 1 tea bag per cup or teapot. Add boiling water and allow to steep for 7-10 minutes for desired strength. Serve hot or chilled with honey or lemon to taste. Serve without milk.
